Austin Aldridge is a senior on the WCA Baseball team. He is the son of Kenny and Susan Aldridge. Along with playing baseball for 13 years, Austin was a member of the bowling team. His favorite memory involves some of his teammates using ingenuity and making a hot-tub when there was not one available while on a Spring Break trip! Coach Anderson has the following to say about Austin, “Austin brought an easy going personality with him each and every day. He had a great sense of humor which was very fun to watch play out in every practice and game. He would run Gamechanger(our stats program), hand it to someone else and go out and pitch a few innings, and then come back in and hop back on Gamechanger. He was willing to do whatever was asked of him all the time. He was a team player.” Austin’s advice to younger players is “Don’t take the time you have for granted. Time flies. Enjoy the time you have and make the most of it. Develop and grow lasting relationships with your teammates.” His favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:31. Wishing Austin the best as he continues on to Auburn University pursuing a degree in Accounting & Finance.
