Varsity Baseball · Spring Sport Senior Recognition: Clay Doll

Clay Doll is the son of John and Lisa Doll. While Clay has played baseball for 14 years he was a member of Westminster’s football team as well. His favorite memory from his time playing baseball is “when we all played a game of baseball on the beach last year. That was truly a perfect picture of how baseball should be played. Everyone was having so much fun joking with each other and having a blast. Hitting home runs and pointing/laughing at your buddy on the mound and just being kids playing baseball.” Coach Anderson has the following to say, “Clay was constantly asking questions and looking for ways to get better. The coaches enjoyed messing with him about his cleats and his glove that he would turn inside out all the time. His effort on the field was second to none and he battled all the time. He loved playing the game and he loved his teammates.” Clay’s advice to younger players is don’t take a second for granted, cherish your team and every moment that you have with them. His favorite Bible verse is Colossians 3:1-3. Next stop for Clay is Auburn University where he plans on majoring in Accounting and ultimately pursuing a career in the FBI. We look forward to seeing the great things that Clay will accomplish!
