Sam Sheppard is a senior on the Boys Soccer Team. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Ray Sheppard. He has played soccer since he was 5 years old and has also played football, baseball, and basketball. His favorite memory while playing at Westminster was being able to play on the Varsity team as an 8th grader. Sam’s advice to the underclassmen would be, “Hard work pays off. Time goes by fast so take advantage of what you have now.” Coach St. John says that, “Sam plays the game with complete abandon. He plays so hard, strong, and fast. He makes himself a challenge to opponents just because of his mentality. His example of hard work and ability to pull his teammates up to another level will be missed.” Sam’s favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9. Sam plans to attend Auburn University in the fall. Good luck Sam!
